Studio Boyd is an architectural practice based in Glasgow. The practice’s focus is to craft personal, thoughtful, and practical design solutions, grounded by an understanding of the environment, people and technology.
The practice believes that sustainable living is not solely defined as a physical requirement but also an emotional one. While new technologies can provide practical responses to energy efficiency, good architecture should act as a platform for a broader sense of sustainability and wellbeing. The practice therefore seeks to blend traditional architectural principles of light, space and materiality with progressive design and construction technologies to create buildings that deliver a lasting positive impact on both people and the environment.
